Investigating
Overgrown vegetation on the footpath between The Jetty and Horseshoe Close including obstructing the street light.

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6478327.
The footpath has been left for individuals to cut back since Spring this year but the tree growing around the lamppost is too big for me to tackle. There are clubs in the village during the winter evenings and it is already too dark for some of us to take this route home now, meaning a much longer walk is needed. I have been digging out nettles and brambles and cutting back brambles but I feel I need help now. Unfortunately we are all becoming more ancient! Please would you help us?

The lamppost and light have been cleared but it seems not by you? My neighbour is continuing to clear the hedges himself now to make the path less dangerous for the largely elderly residents who use the footpath to walk into the village. (It is too slippery with the fallen foliage for the less able walkers) I am grateful to whoever is responsible for clearing the light.
