Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6500019.
This part of Watering Lane at the junction of Glebe Farm Close, is at the bottom of the two hills which constitute Watering Lane. Yesterday it became overwhelmed with the amount of water flowing down from both directions. This has happened before. The whole road is awash. Please can the drains at this point be checked as A LOT of water and debris flow into them. Thank you.

Investigation: Ongoing - Thank you for your enquiry. West Northants received approximately 140mm of rain over a short period of time, resulting in severe flash flooding in many areas. The heavy rainfall had the ability to overwhelm the surface water drainage system. If your report is a repeat flooding incident, please could update this enquiry with further information, so that we can investigate. If this is not a repeat incident, we will close the enquiry after 7 days and the highways team will continue to monitor the location

Hello, please could you say how often and when the drains at this spot are checked? When the rainfall is abnormally heavy, the water flows down both sides of the hill which constitutes Watering Lane. The road becomes a fast-flowing stream meeting where Glebe Farm Close meets Watering Lane.
