Investigation: Ongoing - Thank you for your enquiry. West Northants received approximately 140mm of rain over a short period of time, resulting in severe flash flooding in many areas. The heavy rainfall had the ability to overwhelm the surface water drainage system. If your report is a repeat flooding incident, please could update this enquiry with further information, so that we can investigate. If this is not a repeat incident, we will close the enquiry after 7 days and the highways team will continue to monitor the location

This drain floods every time it rains, the report was made during the heavy rain but it is a problem persistently, only a tiny bit of rain and all the rain coming down the whole street past our house pools around our front door, the drain has been reported in the past and cleared out, it needs doing again, I have personallly been out and cleared the weeds that block it, it needs regular maintenance
