Toms Close, Collingtree - drain at the bottom of cul de sac near no. 8/9 is blocked - causing flooding to road and pavement - more rain will cause water to go onto private property. Was previously reported but drains remain blocked possibly due to building works previously held in the close and builders tipping waste down the drains.

Investigation: Ongoing - Thank you for your enquiry. West Northants received approximately 140mm of rain over a short period of time, resulting in severe flash flooding in many areas. The heavy rainfall had the ability to overwhelm the surface water drainage system. If your report is a repeat flooding incident, please could update this enquiry with further information, so that we can investigate. If this is not a repeat incident, we will close the enquiry after 7 days and the highways team will continue to monitor the location
