Road is breaking up by the verge and a further pothole towards the centre. Dangerous to cyclists and motorcyclists

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 38 days.

    This pothole has worsened considerably with large chunks of tarmac not a hazard to motorists and pedestrians if thrown up by passing traffic.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. We can confirm that we have been made aware of this issue. A works order has been raised which you can follow on 6503363and add updates. The expected completion date for these works will be on or before 27/3/25 but a temporary repair has been carried out till permanent repairs can take place
