The drain at the top of Brook Court is blocked causing water to run down the road. In heavy rain this is exacerbating the issues we already experience at the end of the cul-d-sac with the overflowing drains. This is a perpetual issue with prior logs created as the drains in Brook Court that cannot cope in heavy rainfall. 2021 reference : 2506292

Investigation: Ongoing - Thank you for your enquiry. West Northants received approximately 140mm of rain over a short period of time, resulting in severe flash flooding in many areas. The heavy rainfall had the ability to overwhelm the surface water drainage system. If your report is a repeat flooding incident, please could update this enquiry with further information, so that we can investigate. If this is not a repeat incident, we will close the enquiry after 7 days and the highways team will continue to monitor the location
