Investigation: Ongoing - Thank you for your enquiry. West Northants received approximately 140mm of rain over a short period of time, resulting in severe flash flooding in many areas. The heavy rainfall had the ability to overwhelm the surface water drainage system. If your report is a repeat flooding incident, please could update this enquiry with further information, so that we can investigate. If this is not a repeat incident, we will close the enquiry after 7 days and the highways team will continue to monitor the location

The internal drain of the property has been cleared by a professional but it does not work because the external drainage has been blocked. It is clearly visible that the drain is still blocked. The waste is coming back up into the property.
