  • Investigation: Ongoing - Thank you for your enquiry. West Northants received approximately 140mm of rain over a short period of time, resulting in severe flash flooding in many areas. The heavy rainfall had the ability to overwhelm the surface water drainage system. If your report is a repeat flooding incident, please could update this enquiry with further information, so that we can investigate. If this is not a repeat incident, we will close the enquiry after 7 days and the highways team will continue to monitor the location

  • Days ago, a highway Maintenance team came and worked at the main road drainage. I have asked them to have a look at the lower foothpath drainage as well. They reply that is not their business. As i have posted in pictures, the lower footpath drainage also requires unblocking! Today is more than 1 month since I've posted the issues!!! Please advise. Thank you.
