Pot holes and deteriorating road surface

Between Morning Star lane and Spectacle lane the road has deteriorated. Driving down here is a real hazard as it is necessary to avoid several potholes and the road surface , after the recent rain, has come up making more holes and an uneven surface. The road needs resurfacing, not pot filling which does not help in the long term as the recent rain has shown. The road has never been brilliant to drive along and is never properly fixed. There is a very deep pot hole outside Adventure ways which is a danger .

A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 38 days.
