Investigating
Road drain outside 50 moorend road.
Reported via mobile in the Blocked/Damaged category anonymously at 12:23, Wednesday 25 September 2024
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6514126.
The drain in the road floods when there is heavy or continuous rain. The grid was replaced a couple of years ago, because the water eroded the tarmac, and a hole developed. The drain was not cleaned out. Approximately a month ago, a lorry was cleaning the drains. They missed this drain. When I asked if they could suck it out, they told me it was done in December 2023? It's still blocked and it floods the road each time. Regardless of planned schedules, this drain needs looking at before a vehicle hits this standing water, and leaves the road.
