Over growth of verges means footpath substantially and dangerously narrowed.

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6516437.

Over growth and neglect of footpath caused significant narrowing of path. This is super dangerous as high foot fall particularly as other routes of access to firs now blocked off. Also road / highway is narrowing as road not sufficiently cleaned at edge . Fast and heavy traffic. Kids going into Road so pedestrians can pass. Someone will die.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 3 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 28 days. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 repair is 13 days.
