Highway dangerously narrowed by years of mud build up

Reported via mobile in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 20:27, Wed 25 September 2024

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6516459.

From roundabout to shop on Harlestone Rd , on bend, the road has a lot of build up of mud which has caused the road to narrow. Road is 40mph with heavy traffic , including HGV’s . Traffic is moving into middle of road to avoid pedestrians on footpath ( separate problem reported ) . Near misses of head on crashes seen . I think Road needs cleaning north bound to take it back to original width. Can’t see white line anymore. Maybe reduce speed to 30 as pedestrian area ?
