Massive pothole

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6524802.

This pothole was previously filled less than 6 months ago however it is now back and just as deep and wide. Not good needs fixing ASAP!!!

  • This hole has now got bigger, with the amount of rain we've had it's hard to miss. It will cause an accident

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 3 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 28 days. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 repair is 13 days.

A works order has been raised which you can follow on 6524802 and add updates. The expected completion date for these works will be on or before 31/10/24

  • This is now so big it’s very dangerous to motorbike riders and would easily cause an accident if ridden into!

  • Understand there is a completion date for this job. But for safety and prevention of wheel damage. It really needs to be fixed sooner than that.
