Blocked drains flooding Backstone pastures farm and damaging the electric gates that has been repaired multiple times due to the rain.

The water comes from Brixworth Road and doesn't go through the drains as they are all blocked and goes into the property. Need to check if the pipes are working or clear the drains

  • This is the result that all the rainwater from Brixworth side and Spratton side of my gateway because none of the drains in the road work.

The result is that all the mud and water ends up in my gateway and apart from having to clean it up every time it also damages the motor on my electric gate which I then have to get repaired.

The is little point just emptying the sediment buckets without clearing the pipes into the brook.

  • Could you please advise what exactly your “repair” entails?

Clearing the sediment buckets in the drain will not resolve the issue unless the pipe from the drain into the brook is also cleared.

Can you confirm that your “repair” also entails the clearing of the pipe into the brook?
