Fading markings and degrading surface.

Reported via mobile in the Road Markings - Worn/Faded category anonymously at 20:58, Tuesday 1 October 2024

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6540167.

Markings have faded so much that vehicles are dangerously entering the path of other vehicles on the roundabout. Approaching north from the A43, I always choose lane 3 because people from lane 1 always decide to move to lane two. However, there are also more more instances of drivers drifting from lane 2 into the path of drivers using lane 3 = a lot of near misses.

The road surface is also staring to degrade and would benefit from preventative treatment as drivers are starting to erratically dodge emerging potholes (not helped by using stone mastic asphalt instead of hot rolled asphalt).
