Overgrown vegetation preventing verge from being mowed

Reported via mobile in the Overgrown Private Vegetation category by Councillor Tim Moriarty, Staverton Parish council at 08:51, Wednesday 2 October 2024

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6541008.

The vegetation on this stretch of the wall (on the north side of the A425 in Staverton) has been steadily growing for years and has now reached the ground. It is preventing the parish’s lawn mowing contractor from mowing the grass.

  • The overgrown foliage is at the back of the property called The Old Vicarage, Church Street, I suspect the owners, Mr and Mrs Lerigo, are blissfully unaware of what is happening over their garden wall. Mrs Lerigo's number is 07894 451535. She is a keen gardener herself and very approachable.
