Damaged highway

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6545360.

There are potholes again at this location due to an unresolved water leak an heavy vehicles. The highway is damaged.

  • We've been waiting for nearly two years for this highway damage to be fixed. The contractors were supposed to start work on 2nd October. The repair crew fixed a damaged inspection cover that's all. They have not fixed the damaged road.

    Please look at the many, many pictures and comments on report number 4634429. This highway damage is outside a Primary School. Sooner or later, a car will come off the road and hurt a child. Please, please put this at the top of your list. It's not about budget priorities. It's about avoiding injuries to tiny children.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 3 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 28 days. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 repair is 13 days.
