3 or 4 bad potholes prior to the Banbury Road junction with the A361

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6549237.

There are 3 or 4 potholes, one extremely deep and the width of a standard tyre, that need repairing asap. They are almost at the junction and vehicles need to travel down the centre of the road to avoid hitting them.

  • Investigation: Completed (Fixed on site) - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and carried out an immediate semi-permanent repair. We will continue to monitor the condition as part of our routine highway inspection schedule. Should you notice the defect worsening, please inform us by raising a new enquiry.

  • The holes on the junction have not been repaired. There have been some others that have been but the road has many potholes. It’s too dangerous to take photos or measurements at the junction. The What Three Words reference is: Solved. Nurses. Talent

  • Investigation: Completed (Fixed on site), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 55.5 days.
