Investigating
Damaged drain pipe under pathway
Reported via desktop in the Blocked/Damaged category anonymously at 17:56, Thursday 10 October 2024
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6576219.
When trying to rod a blocked drain, we noticed water coming out on the other side of the footpath. The drain pipe must be broken under the footpath causing the water to seep into the ground. We were inspecting the drains due to severe damp in the house next to the drain. The house floor is below footpath level and we believe the damaged drain is the cause.
