Sent to West Northamptonshire Council 12 hours, 10 minutes later. ref: 6624260.

I have just logged a problem with Anglian Water regarding the drainage issue at 10 Main Street, Denton, Northampton, NN7 1DQ. This relates to a large amount of water on the verge and Main street in Denton. It has been logged on West Northamptonshire Council (WNC), Fix My Street, Ref: 6624260. As I have been informed that this is an Anglian Water issue, I am asking Anglian Water to log this problem and provide me with a job reference number in due course.
I have asked them to arrange for a member of their Water Networks team to carry out a check as to the source of the water. If Anglian Water believe the water flowing to be a spring, which would be the responsibility of the local highways department at WNC, then I have asked them to advise me accordingly. As soon as I have further news I shall be in touch. I want to be in a position to advise residents that we now understand the source of the water so that we can gain commitment to a resolution of a problem that has been outstanding for some time.

I have just been informed that Anglian Water have now finished investigating reference number 26490644 and they have confirmed that it's not being caused by any of their pipework or equipment. It is the responsibility of the local highways department at WNC, so please accelerate the time to resolve this drainage issue.
