Uneven slabs/uneven camber DANGEROUS!!!

Reported via mobile in the Slabs - Uneven / Damaged / Cracked category anonymously at 00:12, Friday 18 October 2024

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6629561.

Outside Aldi in Daventry,& all along the footpath down the side & into the carpark is Dangerously uneven....slabs move.... trolley wheels get stuck in pits in the surface, leading to people losing their balance & their shopping! Today (17/12024) I did my weekly shop in Aldi, as usual, & upon leaving the store my trolley hit an uneven paving slab causing the trolley to tip over, emptying it's contents All over the place, & as I tried to stop it from tipping, I ended up on the floor too. There has been issues with this Exact same place for Many years now (including resulting in serious injuries to children!) But WNC do NOTHING to rectify the issue.

  • Some of the holes along the alleyway between Aldi & the car park have been patched up, but the slab that moved out the front of the shop & tipped my trolley hasn't been touched, neither have the holes along the side that cause peoples trolleys to tip! Yet Again, Ineffective work done by WNC!!!!

    Still open, via questionnaire

  • Yes I have noticed the slab as soon as you walk into Aldi is lifting up when you walk over it I also reported a loose slab near the cobbled strip on sheaf street and it says works completed but is still loose
