Drain Blocked & Not Working

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6649745.

This sump on this drain is full of mud/silt and therefore it is completely blocked and no water can drain away.

Drain needs vacuum sucking and jet washing to ensure the sump and pipes are clear to allow water to drain away from the road.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 3 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 28 days. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 repair is 13 days.
