Side of road worn away and causing tyre damage when cars pass

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6664207.

There is a drop off the side of the road which means cars are reluctant to pull over when needed (single track lane) as tyres getting damaged. This is impacting both sides of the road.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 38 days.
