Overflowing litter bins and excess rubbish around village

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6672814.

The village litter pickers have only been made redundant for a few days and the village is full of litter and the bins in the centre are overflowing. This is during half term and will get worse next week when schools return. How often are WNC going to be picking litter in this village and where will they pick.

  • Perhaps educating your fellow villagers to take their rubbish home when the bins are full would be more beneficial than blaming the local council. Everyone's council tax keeps going up because too many folk have zero responsibility!
