Endless potholes again

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6690761.

Same as always with this forgotten road. Cars are driving on the verges all along this road from a43 to the end of the village where it meets the Helmdon to Brackley road due to the depth & number of potholes. Gets really tricky not to damage the car when it rain and you accidentally drive into one.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 62 days.

    I have a 2nd guest in my business with a burst tyre. The holes are huge! This road is really shocking. Must admit its bad anyway but this is the worst its ever been. Someone already won a court battle last year due to the state of this road. Please could we have an emergency team to at least fill the really deep ones.

  • Investigation: Completed (Duplicate), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. We can confirm that we have been made aware of this issue. A works order has been raised which you can follow on 6690761and add updates. The expected completion date for these works will be on or before 5/5/25 a temp repair has been made to the pothole pictured and we are scheduled to carry out repairs to rest of the road asap after Christmas
