Damaged chevron board on roundabout

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6752136.

The chevron sign on the roundabout has been damaged, there is a piece of the metal sign sticking out and while its currently not obstructing the road as such, if a vehicle where to collide with this then the large piece of metal which is sticking out would cause an injury. Unable to take a photo due to the location being busy and i was in a car

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 62 days.
