Flooded road

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6760275.

Please can the drains be checked and cleaned in our village. The one outside my home ; walnut barn is blocked and this is flooding the road.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found) - Thank you for your enquiry. A Community Steward has assessed the location and we can confirm that the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 1 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 24 hours.

  • This was cleared at 7 am this morning but by 8am was as bad as it was before pumping out. When we have frost cars driving through the flood spread water over the road which yesterday, when it was frosty, made a large length of road like an ice rink. Very dangerous. Do hope this can soon be rectified successfully. Sheila Smith

  • I have walked lasted this flooding today, now far worse with water running all down the road from Caldecote to the A5. Water is now building up at the Caldecote / A5 junction. This needs urgent attention.
