Severe flooding of road and pavement in Hall Close, Harpole (outside number 17 and neighbouring properties), on 24th November, caused by culvert beneath Hall Close and blocked drains. Flooding has subsided but road and streets still filled with debris and ongoing problems with drainage/culvert need attention.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the flooding has been assessed and requires a Priority 4 response. We will schedule drainage investigation work to be completed within 26 weeks. When the investigation has been completed, we will inform you of our findings and course of action. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 is 62 days.
