A drain on School Lane, outside no. 19 has become blocked and has flooded the surrounding area, street and road - including private property. There is also not sufficient drainage for the area. Believed the root cause might be piping coming from fields behind housing being worn out or blocked.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the flooding has been assessed and requires a Priority 4 response. We will schedule drainage investigation work to be completed within 26 weeks. When the investigation has been completed, we will inform you of our findings and course of action. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 is 62 days.
