2 x blocked drains in southview nether heyford

Reported via desktop in the Blocked Ditch category by Lisa Miller at 13:04, Wednesday 27 November 2024

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6791715.

On Monday there were some floods in Southview at least 3 properties had internal damage due to flood water. Myself and my neighbour went out on Monday evening as the water was rising, we moved the water to the drain that was working with sweeping brushed in an attempt to stop the water from reaching our properties, im at 14 Southview. It was apparent that the storm drain outside of my property and the one opposite we not flowing properly and couldn't cope with all of the water like the other drain did. my impression is that they are blo9cked in some way. I understand we are due to have more rain so i think this is a flood risk and therefore a priority. thankyou Lisa Miller
