Multiple drains blocked in the vicinity of the crossroads of bridge Street / Church Street / New St.

This area flooded badly as water was unable to flow away

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 3 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 28 days. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 repair is 16 days.

  • What is the update on this repair? This blockage caused major flood damage to local houses and businesses. When it rains it overflows again causing anxiety for local residents.
