Hole opening up
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6807462.
North bound towards chipping warden road is rough but near the top of hill the worst hole is opening up. 2 lumps of tarmac were in the road yesterday. Locals straddle solid white line to avoid damage up the hill risking head on collisions.

Investigation: Completed (Defect Found) - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 62 days.

With the road being closed for the sink hole at the bottom of the hill. That will need to be resurfaced once the repair is done. It might be worth resurfacing the hill and this pot hole at the same time whilst the machinery is already there and the road is closed.

Investigation: Completed (Defect Found) - Thank you for your enquiry. We can confirm that we have been made aware of this issue. A works order has been raised which you can follow on 6797770 and add updates. The expected completion date for these works will be on or before 3/6/25 but we hoping to carry out repairs within the road closure within 2 weeks
