Road collapsing
Reported via desktop in the Potholes / Highway Condition category by Mrs Sandy Pattenden at 10:50, Thu 5 December 2024
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6822303.
This culvert was repaired about 4 weeks ago after months of temporary traffic lights. The volume of rain in the past few days has overwhelmed the repair; it is already starting to collapse. The closure of the A361 has resulted in a marked increase of traffic, much of it heavy lorries. The state of the collapse suggests that the road will fully collapse in the near future. For further identification the What3words position is: phantom.projects.denoting. This could be potentially lethal if left unrepaired.

This has still not been repaired, and has deteriorated further. It has sunken more than it had and two holes on each side of the road are forming.
