Blocked Drain / Broken connection

Reported via desktop in the Blocked/Damaged category anonymously at 13:31, Thu 5 December 2024

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6823255.

There is water coming out of this gulley even though it was dry when I visited and there was no water running down the road into it. There is water coming out of the gulley and flowing down the road to the next gulley. There may be a spring that is somehow getting into the system but maybe the connection is broken to the next gulley that water is coming out and running down the road to the next gully.

  • This drain is still blocked up with water backing up and flowing out of the drain and down the road to the next drain.

Suspect that the outlet pipe connecting into that next drain has collapsed or is blocked and needs jetting or new piping installing.

The defect persists and it is now beyond the 62 day window provided for a defect repair to be carried out as stated in the update on Tuesday 10 December 2024.

Can a new update be provided as to when a permenant fix will be carried out to this defect so that the drain is functioning properly and surface run off water can drain away.
