Road markings.

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6827829.

The road from Byfield 5 ways through Upper Boddington to Warwickshire county sign including Highland Farm junction, needs central road markings. This has become more of a problem with the A361 being closed this section of road is now a rat run for increasing number of cars and large lorries up to the size of car transporters. The road is not capable of this sized traffic. Edge of roads being destroyed causing edge collapse.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the photo/s and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 62 days.
