Road markings faded on entry to Drayton Park

The white lines on the Drayton Way going into Drayton Park are faded and extremely difficult to see at nighttime. This is causing a number of traffic problems. A problem was previously reported further down the Drayton Way but the real issue is on the entrance to Drayton Park.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 62 days.

  • Footpath by opening of Drayton Park on right side from A361 has trees & shrubs overhanging the footpath & virtually unable to pass. Has been like this since the recent storms in December.
