Potholes at edge of road

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6848805.

The side of this road is crumbling in several places causing deep potholes which are difficult/impossible to see after rain and difficult to avoid at other times. I have recently spent £210 on wheel repairs as a result and will try to avoid this route because of the poor condition.

  • Numerous large potholes on this stretch of road causing people to drive on the road side of the road. Worsening weekly. Suggest whole stretch of road is inspected

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 3 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 28 days. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 repair is 16 days.
