Drain permanently blocked
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6910568.
Flooding of this road has been permanent for over a month now, the drain was pumped out weeks and made no difference. They abandoned five sandbags which are doing nothing and a waste of time. With the storm due over the next two days this will flood entirely.

A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 3 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 28 days. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 repair is 16 days.

Hi is there any update on this as it was scheduled to be fixed on or before the 4th Feb it’s now the 5th and no change. The weather is due to get colder and the water freezes turning this into an ice rink.

Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Ongoing - Thank you for your enquiry. The jetting was completed on 13/02/25, however this did not stop the water surcharging, therefore an additional priority 4 ticket to cctv and jet the mainline will be raised.
