Hi - I've been meaning to report this for some time, I see someone has. I have previously attended to this leak in years past, but my 'solution' has not worked this time. Hence reason to message is that if a council engineer arrives at site not being familiar with the setup, they may not know how to sort this. So key point is that the drain that's inside the spring below outlet elbow (so directly below the pipe, behind the railings) has become blocked. I have previously unblocked this with a stick/pole in the past, but this time I can't appear to free the drain. Hence the spring is overflowing through the hole in the front brickwork into the ACO drain.. The separate drain in the ACO to the right of the spring is taking the majority of the flow, but it can't cope (see pic with ACO cover lifted) . Hence the overflow. The solution I believe is to remove the steel railing and get proper drain rods in to clear the original main drain. If your need any further details, please contact me. Thanks, James.

Hi, I've noted the update above that someone has visited, but that a full jet/clear of the original drain (to confirm the one under the outlet NOT the ACO channel!!) to clear that could be 26 weeks away...?!? In which case it will be SUMMER before this is fixed. It's been frosty several nights this week and I've seen people slip on the ice, including young with pushchairs and older citizens going to the surgery. Surely it can be looked at quicker than 26 weeks!! regards, J.
