Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6936807.
Fixmystreet ref 6519433 As you can see this has been reported my times of the last few years Currently the water is flowing down Great Lane and across the B526 - if as reported on the BBC weather that the temp will drop below freezing this will be a Major Hazard on a busy road.

Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the flooding has been assessed and requires a Priority 3 response. We will schedule drainage investigation work to be completed within 28 days. When the investigation has been completed, we will inform you of our findings and course of action. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 is 16 days.

This problem is the same as when I first reported it 12 months ago. Just sucking out the drains is not going to sort the issue, the blocked connecting gullies need clearing. Come on Keir / Northants Council get your act together !

Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Work Completed - Thank you for your enquiry. The gullies were cleansed on 23/01/25 and no issues were found. We have now raised a new priority 4 ticket to jet and camera survey all gullies on Gate Lane.
