A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 3 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 28 days. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 repair is 16 days.

Huge potholes around this roundabout cannot be avoided and very dangerous. Other people have already raised this issue and NOTHING DONE. Where is government money for potholes being spent?

This is very concerning. Despite multiple report being made, no remedial works have been carried out, and the situation has now escalated into a serious safety hazard. The road surface is in a deteriorating state, posing a significant risk to all road users. Given the severity of the issue, this should now be treated as a priority before it leads to an accident - an outcome that is becoming increasingly likely with each passing day. The lack of action despite repeated reports is unacceptable. Please provide an update on the planned course of action and a timeline for when these repairs will be carried out. On each report made, there have been different responses from the council regarding when the works will be completed. This inconsistency is misleading and suggests that the information is unreliable. The most recent planned start date March 17th as displayed on Causeway One Network has now been removed with no new date established . This raises serious concerns about wheter the works will be carried out at all.

Junction 16 roundabout is still full of multiple large holes all the way around it . I see it was reported in Jan it’s still not done and v v bad

Is this roundabout definitely going to be resurfaced next month or are we being fobbed off! The road surface is absolutely trecharous especially for motorcyclists and god forbid causes a fatality

Rather than being “patched up” the whole roundabout and access road towards Flore needs totally resurfacing as a matter of urgency

There will be temporary repairs completed to patch the pot holes until resurfacing works can begin. We do not currently have a timescale on the resurfacing works but hope to complete this financial year.

Most people’s financial year ends next week on 4th April, is that when you mean? This roundabout has been in a poor state for years and is now downright dangerous. You know this, and have known for months. If there’s a serious accident then WNC will be responsible.

You keep saying there will be a permanent repair within 28 days but there hasn’t even been any temporary repairs. It is dangerous and for motorcycles risk to life. Living in Flore it is a daily journey trying to avoid the potholes.

Junction 16 M1 roundabout is the worst I've ever seen it. It is so dangerous and there will be a terrible accident because if the condition. Its needs resurfacing immediately not patch work

When is this being resolved then? As been saying you will fix within 28 days. By 24th April is only leaving you two more days and still not fixed
