Drains blocked with leaves and mud/vegetation

Reported via desktop in the Blocked/Damaged category anonymously at 12:56, Wed 8 January 2025

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6951002.

The storm drains are blocked with leaves and on 1 January we had a back up of blocked sewage leaking up on our driveway. We paid for our drains to be flushed privately but the contractor could not access the likely cause of the blockage further along the drain network. The long drain outside our house is also blocked with mud and vegetation leading to damp issues on our property. This has been a problem for years but Anglian Water who also attended our sewage leak advised this needs to be cleared as the blockages to the shared drains network means nothing can get through when there is a lot of rain.
