Road needs resurfacing

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6979768.

The whole stretch of this road is in very poor condition. Potholes on both sides all along the road. Needs sorting as is a single track road.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 62 days.

    I had to call the AA out on 21/01/25 due to these pot holes. They caused my front left tyre to completely explode despite driving carefully down this road. These are the first 3 images I am sharing. I will share further images. This road is extremely dangerous as the main big pot hole when filled with water is not as obvious. This caused me to swerve all over the road and led to AA coming to assist me. Taking me to a tyre repair that cost £230 for two tyres due to the damage caused from these pot holes. One completely removed from the RIM and the other dangerously damaged. I am a district nurse for the area and this caused delays in my ability to provide care for the local area and needs addressing.
