Pothole report 6979817 not completed but said it is

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 7022910.

Road is full of potholes and they are very deep. The have been reported before and then were told they were fixed and case closed but this is not true. The workmen came but did not finish the job. The potholes are so big that you cannot drive through them safely but cannot avoid them either. Customer reporting states that the bottom of her car hits the road in this area as the road is in such bad condition. The road hasn't been resurfaced since the 1950s. The potholes are more than normal road surface along this stretch from A43 to Fox Covert.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 73 days. but we hope to carry out works asap
