On the approach to the roundabout junction from PAN to Kettering Road, there is a large pot hole as the lane splits into two

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 73 days.

  • This needs an urgent repair now, not in 4 months time. It is in the middle of the carriageway and almost unavoidable. You have wasted money resurfacing a nearby stretch of this road which ironically had zero issues with it yet you cannot do an emergency repair of this pothole?

  • I don’t think this repair timescale is in line with the road standards policy set by the council based on its size (width and depth). It needs re inspection and a faster repair - you have equipment on park Avenue this week.
