Ditches Causing Flooding

Reported via desktop in the Blocked Ditch Causing Flooding category by Danny Moody at 17:37, Sunday 26 January 2025

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council 14 hours, 30 minutes later. ref: 7035657.

The photo shows the junction of Falcutt Lane with the B4525. When it rains there is always a big puddle here and sometimes the entire road is flooded. When it was very wet and cold a few weeks ago, the junction was completely flooded as per the photo but all the water froze solid. A vehicle approaching the junction from Falcutt skidded on the ice right out into the B4525. If there had been a vehicle travelling in either direction there would have been a serious accident. Thank good ness there wasn't on this occasion. I think the ditches either side of the road need to be redug or some sort of drain put it.
