Huge pothole where verge meets road

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 7092802.

There are a number of huge potholes where road meets verges, where lorries have diverted when B4525 closed, because another HS2 lorry is in the ditch. As a single track road, you have no alternative but to mount the verge to pass oncoming traffic. Some of these potholes are now so big, and usually filled with water so are invisible. Cars will be badly damaged.

Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 3 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 28 days. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 repair is 18.5 days.
