Potholes

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 7102845.

Northampton bound there are 2 large sections which have sunken - now pothole deep that need attention.

This is causing traffic to travel in centre of road - as danger to all motorists travelling through the narrow section

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 3 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 28 days. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 repair is 18.5 days.

We can confirm that we have been made aware of this issue and a works order has been raised on a routine safety inspection. The expected completion date for these works will be 11/03/2025 hopefully sooner.

  • This pothole caused a vehicle to swerve into my lane (on coming traffic) this could have been a serious collision this needs attention asap
