  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 55.5 days.

  • 26 weeks? Seriously? There are multiple large potholes at this point which could cause vehicle damage already, let alone if they get deeper and larger. They also risk collisions with vehicles swerving to avoid them. This part of road is in a very poor state of repair and needs more attention given the traffic levels

  • This is crazy. Does anyone actually look at this road and ALL the now very dangerous potholes on the whole section of road? They are not fixed, they are incredibly dangerous. I hope while you fail to take a serious and full approach to this whole section of road from clifton mill to the railway bridge that someone doesn't get seriously injured. The accidents and costs being incurred by drivers is unreal.

    Reporting to councillors falls on deaf ears too. This whole steetch of road beeds fully resurfacing . There's the road surface separating and subsiding into the ditch. What does it take to get someone to take proper responsibility for this road?
