Road full.of pot holes and damage
Reported via mobile in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 08:53, Friday 21 February 2025
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 7165661.
Port Road Duston has been deteriorating over the last couple of years . highways come along periodically and fill a single hole, traffic as increased on this road due to new housing being built we now have a stretch of road leading into and through Upper Harlestone in a dreadful and deteriorating state this road is popular for shoft cuts to Daventry and Northampton via Duston, including large lorries who get stuck and cause further damage. The whole road including Upper Harlestone needs to be replaced surely there must be monies from the developers of the housing. It seems this area and Upper Harlestone are being neglected and as the village as no paths or street lights not only cars but people also have to use the roads. It needs sorting continous patching of a random pothole which does not last is a waste of tax payers money. Can I request this is sorted out properly before there is serious accident.

These potholes are becoming increasingly dangerous and should be fixed as a matter of urgency before someone is injured. The edges of the road are breaking up badly so that what should be a road is now becoming a single lane track in places. Urgent.
